Was told at the gate that we would have to pay an admission fee of $5 a person just to look at the pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. We bypassed buying are pumpkins at Walmart and drove 20 minutes to come here to have fun buying them in an actual pumpkin patch only to leave without buying any pumpkins. We did not see the point in spending $10 as a couple to look at pumpkins. When we told them we were not interested in the animal petting and just wanted to buy two pumpkins we were told there was a $5 entrance fee even if you wanted to look. Driving away now disappointed.

Went today for the first time for the pumpkin festival. Price for admission and activities were reasonable. Cute pumpkin picking area, great face painter, the kids area was cute and the pony rides made my kids happy.

As for the owner/auction guy that they didn't like talking...that's his job. To keep people involved, entertained, and to try to help keep an eye on bidders so that you aren't overlooked. It still can happen but there are a lot of eyes to try to avoid that. He's also an owner who cares about the animals and the people buying and selling. Perhaps, like I mentioned before, instead of throwing a tantrum about the lights, sound, etc... they could've behaved like an adult and spoke with the people there. The workers are very good about trying to accommodate people and make sure everyone is taken care of. Lord knows they've gone the extra mile for my husband and I. The have fans going, plenty of shade and weather protection in the hot rainy summers, , area heaters in the winter. Good lighting, though apparently too bright for some who aren't used to the environment, to be able to thoroughly examine livestock and farm and household supplies they sell.

Went to the fall festival there. Good variety of animals, and fair admission price. Line for the pony ride took way too long. Don't expect to spend more than an hour or two there. Not much in the way of rides or other entertainment. Good way to spend an hour or so with small kids.

I could not however overlook the condition that most of the animals were in. The cages that most of the animals were in were incredibly small and run down. Most of them didn’t even have a solid surface to stand on just chicken wire bottoms. Most of them appeared to be way too skinny and it made me sad to see. One of the younger staff memeber actually hit the alpaca when it tried to take the cup we had food in, but I think he was just hungry. I was disappointment in their pens and the level of care I think they receive and it’s a shame, because if it weren’t for that we would defintely be back next year!

My suggestions would be to put some of that money towards new and larger enclosures for the animals.

Went for holloween. Loved the petting zoo animals and pony rides, lots of games and pumpkins. Really good fun. I'll be back next year. Wish they had a real working restroom though. Just a really gross portopotty.
