Your Plant City Police are abusing their authority. My daughter in law was given a $100.00 ticket due to her car not having a license plate on her car. The officer should have given her a chance to find out what happened to her missing plate. When she got home that day of arrest, my son found the plate laying in their yard. Their neighborhood has had problems with children damaging cars and other foolish pranks. My daughter in law had all the necessary and up to date car insurance, drivers license, and owners card for your officer to check. Both you and I know this was not necessary to fine her for this minor infraction!! Is your City in such financial ruin that you must arrest a law abiding citizen that already has their own problems due to the poor economy??? She was arrested Saturday, 5/30/09 on Timberline drive taking her daughter to the park for her birthday. Please look into my request for review. Donald Nace
